How may we help you?
Overview
This guide will assist you in logging into Salesforce using a web browser with the Duo Single Sign-On (SSO) service. Follow these steps to ensure a successful login.
Step 1: Navigate to the Salesforce Login Page
- Open your web browser: Use any browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Edge).
- Go to the login page: Type or click on this link:
- Redirected page: You will be taken to the ‘metrofloors’ login page instead of the standard Salesforce login page.
Step 2: Enter Your Credentials
- Username: In the username field, enter your Metro username preceded by mhf\.
- Example: If your Metro username is bsmith, enter mhf\bsmith.
- Make sure to use a backslash \ and not a forward slash /.
- Password: Use the password you typically use to log into your computer. Salesforce-specific passwords are no longer necessary
Step 3: Complete Duo Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
- After entering your credentials, you will be prompted to complete the Duo MFA process.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to authenticate and access Salesforce
Note
If you’ve already logged into another web-based application (e.g., Zoom, M3, or GoTo Meeting) during the day, you might not need to authenticate again and could be automatically signed in.
Any screenshots you decide to include can be pulled from the training already on Metrocademy. This is intended to give us a quick link we can send off that doesn't require logging in to read.
